"Another really old example on tabooification of cannibalism, the Algonquian myth of the Wendigo, says that a human being that commits cannibalism can become a human-eating monster."
This clearly is not Literature, but I don't know where we ought to move it to.

I pulled the link for Biter in webcomics (http://www.bitercomics.com/comic/the-dead-of-winter) due to very suspicious behavior. It would not allow me to access the comic without installing an extension in my browser that purported to be called "Privacy Anywhere". I find sites requiring me to install things that do not seem necessary for what I'm trying to do very untrustworthy.

Pulled this entry from the Comic Book folder:
- Marvel has those who eat human flesh (in Canada) turn into a Wendigo. It happens more often than you might expect.

What does the part about fat starvation mean? It seems too theoretical, because people have actually survived starvation by eating other people.
