The quote was stealth-added to the draft by an otherwise uninvolved editor without discussion, so I'm not especially sure what the history there is. I don't have any particular issue with cutting it if it's incorrect or misleading.
Hello there. The attribution of the page quote is not making a lot of sense. It would lead the average English-speaker to think the phrase "nam myoho renge kyo" comes directly from Siddhartha Gautama or early Buddhist scriptures.
