I'm actually into both; I like poetry, drawing, music, art, whatever, but I'm also into science and math. Heck, as a kid, I wanted to be an astronaut! Does that make me "weird" or something?

It's just how fiction portrays genders. Nothing weird about what is someone is or suppose to be, let alone like or what someone should like. In other words, it's just merely stereotypes rather than facts. If you like what you like, well and good.
