Any thoughts? It's nearly been 2 weeks...
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerThe page previously used "she/her" pronouns to refer to the hypothetical enemy (to distinguish her from other tropes that were mentioned in the description, and generally make it more interesting to read).
~Another Gamer changed them to "they/their" pronouns:
"I changed them because most pages either default to "him" or "they" and "they" generally fits better in most contexts plus I don't think the gender needs to be stressed in this context if it's for a hypothetical example."
I contend that there's no reason to default to "him/his" or "they/their" over "she/her". If there's no need to stress a gender, there's no need to worry about the pronouns.
Thoughts?

The example:
[[AC:Non-Video Game Examples]] * ''WesternAnimation/TheIncredibles'': The Omnidroid is stated by Mirage to be an example of this trope:// -->'''Mirage:''' I've got to warn you. It's a learning robot. Every moment you spend fighting it will only increase its knowledge of how to beat you. -->'''Mr. Incredible:''' Shut it down, do it quickly, don't destroy it. -->'''Mirage:''' [[TryNotToDie And don't die.]] -->'''Mr. Incredible:''' Great. Thanks.
Was removed on the basis of "shoehorning". Following it up by PM the troper in question said that video game tropes don't have non-video game examples.
I was not aware of any such policy, and asking on ATT, nobody else is either.
Move to restore the example/section?
