Would Luke Skywlaker count as of The Last Jedi? He is disillusioned with his legend due to failing Ben Solo and turning him to the Dark Side and thus tries to let his legend die. He often spurns Rey's praise due to his disappointment in himself. He comes around in the end, accepting that legends can inspire people even if they make mistakes, of course.
