Being game developer myself, I believe that most of this article is bullshit. Sorry. Placement of light sources is as important in game design as in movie design. Quality of graphics is actually very dependent on programming, for making unusual materials, for example, someone have to write shaders. Also, some games are actually made by small teams at least on prototype level. You can always outsource a great deal of work. Most mobile games on iphone are coded by one programmer.

I've added a note on independant production to the main article.
Edited by Bisected8 TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerThanks. the only way I can influence any wiki is to write comments, because my english is not good enough to make changes by myself. Fact that I only targeted this bullet point example only means that I didn't have much time to go further. What I'm trying to say is that this whole article looks like a pointless rant. From one side, Hollywood usually represents game development not worse than most other countless activities and probably none of these activities are represented convincingly enough for a specialist. from other side, gamedev process described in article is already simplified to hollywood level it tries to correct.
Well if you think it needs a significant overhaul then your best bet would be to get a user ID (you don't need an account for this site, you just need to sort of reserve a user name) and take it to the forums.
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerI've got a newsflash for you Unknown Troper- your English is in roughly the 90th percentile as far as Internet English speakers go. If I can build entire pages from scratch in Spanish, there's absolutely nothing stopping you from making changes on your own.
If your professional expertise leads you to believe this article is sub-standard, by all means change it. Put your faith in the Wiki Magic, or I guess you can trust me to do it if that sounds a little abstract.
See you in the discussion pages.
