I don't think the Girls und Panzer example belongs here. It's not a fictional sport, it's a war game/field exercise treated like a competition, which militaries already do. There's not enough distinction to qualify it for this trope.

Do mob football, soule and other medaeval "sports" really belong here? A real life sport can hardly be fictional, even if it does provide inspiration for the same.
