A lot of the examples on this page seem to follow the end note in the description. While the description says that the trope is specifically /not/ about "different kinds of defenses for different kinds of damage," and that "to qualify for this trope, the injuries themselves must be qualitatively different," half the examples listed on the page are exactly that. Should the description be edited to allow them, or should examples like GURPS and Pokemon be removed?
I feel like the person who wrote this just copied the World of Darkness damage system which is not what a trope is. Also, this isn't really damage typing (shouldn't it be "types"?), more like damage scaling. It's about damage type by severity only, not by flavor, source, resistances or bonus (status) effect which is what damage type means in most tabletops and CRP Gs. (I recommend a rewrite to include other types of damage categorization, and/or if it is felt that damage sorting by severity merits a separate article then splitting that under a more accurate name.)
