at least one tabletop RPG group among my friends, sometimes uses this gag for player characters when the controlling player is unavailable and okay with it, so that the rest of the group can carry on. Is this notable in any popularly known groups, or is it limited to my friends? I don't watch critical roll and I don't remember it coming up in Fools Gold or any Puffin Forest videos...
