Without knowledge of the show, there's no indication the image has anything to do with a silhouette

Early in Year 2 of the video game _Grim Fandango_, Manny Calavera sees a silhouette in the distance that he assumes is Meche Colomar, who he believes has arrived in the port city of Rubacava after he has waited there for her for a year. It turns out that the silhouette was a messenger raven of the Big Bad, Hector Le Mans, on top of a stationary pair of binoculars. Because the raven is an agent of the Big Bad, I'm not quite sure if this trope is in play; however, I do not see any tropes that would fit this incident better.
