First of all, i wouldn't say they are "notable" for being the ONLY culturally and ethnically asian faction in the 40k Universe, it's not exactly the FIRST thing that comes to mind when they're mentioned. And no, the 40k universe is not, by the way, completely European. Granted, the Imperium is mostly based around european imagery and history but there certainly are exceptions, important ones at that. The Salamanders are supposed to be ethnically black marines (now, the fluff is rather ambiguous, saying they have jet black skin and red eyes). Or what about the Thousand Sons? Pre-heresy or chaos, doesn't really matter, their egyptian undertheme is not subtle at all, even if they are not clearly stated to be "ethnically egyptian" (what would that even mean in 40k context..."ethnically asian"? the imperium of man encompasses thousand different worlds, wouldn't be the same ethnic gropus at all). What about Tallarn troops? Would anyone call those examples european? There are several more examples so...i'm not sure if the point is valid. Sounds more like the ramblings of an asian fanboy who doesn't even know the fluff he's complaining about.
