Well, not a lot of people come here. Thought I'd bring it up anyway. I'm tempted to add asspull to the YMMV page. It would relate to moments in Project Hyperion where a character ended up not being who we thought they were. Since it really seems like the bulk of things were going how they appeared full force up until the final quarter of the bulk. I mean does this twist or shocking swerve just destroy the story? No I don't so. I guess maybe it was a player punch.
Still, I guess maybe it could have some foreshadowing. Back in Project Maigo there's a bunch of Kaiju missile control things but honestly I think this was more stroke of luck than longterm planning.
