I feel as if there should be a trope for situations like that in Unnatural Death, where (spoilers!) the hero - Lord Peter - and the villain - Mary Whittaker - meet each other, both operating under false identities, each ignorant of the other's true identity, both simultaneously trying to seduce and to kill the other. Does anything even begin to cover that?
