Okay, so, how heavy is the sky? During The Titan's Curse, Annabeth, Artemis and Percy all hold up the sky before tricking Atlas back into position, and while they are all shown to struggle under the weight it seems extremely odd that Percy and Annabeth are capable of holding the same weight as a goddess and a Titan.

Is it a metaphysical weight, and it takes almost your strength no matter who you are? Because if that's the case why didn't Atlas just use a bunch of mice or something instead of himself?

It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the city in the girl Hide / Show Replies

I think so, yeah. Bear in mind, a) Atlas was stuck up on that hill with no other living beings around except the dragon and his daughters, and b) I believe it was stated that the sky has to be taken willingly, it can only be forced on a Titan.
