I've recently purged all spoiler tags (they're forbidden in Fridge/) as well as a lot of natter. However, if anything needs correcting, edit accordingly.

Could someone do one about their arms? What I was thinking for Fridge Brilliance was that did anyone notice which arm Sasuke took from Ay? Now, which arm did Sasuke lose during the final battle with Naruto?

This example needs to be converted into something that speaks in one voice and uses proper Example Indentation:

  • In the epilogue, some interpretations of the relationship between Naruto and his son Bolt can turn it into a neglectful one if not outright abusive.
    • Bolt defaces Ninja Rushmore, much like Naruto did as a kid. Both are clear cries for attention. Naruto's because he was a friendless, unloved orphan. Bolt has friends and a family, but he's desperate for some attention from his father specifically, suggesting Naruto is neglecting him in favor of his job as Hokage.
      • However, it must be pointed out that the chapter implies Naruto has taken the Hokage seat recently, so Bolt's actions are in response to a new development in their lives.
    • When Naruto comes to lecture Bolt over his actions, his first reaction is to physically hit Bolt in the head when he talks back. Some see this as signs of an abusive father.
      • However, keep in mind the fact that the prank was pulled in the day of an important political meeting. Naruto is on a tight schedule and under pressure, which can explain his anger and rather extreme response to Bolt's mischief.
      • People are reading too much into the issue. The punch is the real life equivalent of a dad flicking his son on the forehead when the son did something stupid. There is zero malicious intent in the interaction. The interaction between father and son in the entire epilogue is about perseverance.
    • Whilst love and kindness are qualities he's experienced from his friends, and he's witnessed a little of how they interact with their parents, he never had the full experience of day-to-day interaction between parent and child, so he doesn't have that to draw from as a parent. That's not to say he couldn't have a normal parent relationship with Bolt - it's just it might be a bit harder for Naruto.
      • Naruto IS following the example set by his own father-figures as best he can: the way Naruto disciplines Bolt is not unlike the way he was disciplined by them when he was younger, in response to the same mistakes even. And Naruto does talk to Bolt afterwards, attempting to explain himself and trying to give Bolt some emotional and physical comfort.
    • Perhaps more tellingly, Naruto came late to the cage meeting, because he spent part of his day parenting his son and defacing his own monument with him in a father-son bonding moment. Naruto is not a perfect parent, but he's certainly trying to be one.
