I'm a bit conflicted on where to put a specific joke that Wes Anderson made in the movie. It's Anderson's response to a real life review article that claimed he enjoys killing dogs in his movies (Moonrise Kingdom, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zisso, and Fantastic Mr. Fox specifically), so in this movie he kills a cat. Where would that joke fall under since it was the response to a real life event?
