Apparently not an example: if the character understands what they are doing is disturbing, that's not this trope. Gotta be "innocent".
- Nightmare Fuel Station Attendant: This movie features a humorous variant of this, in that it is not that the images young Seth draws are scary, but they all involve penises in vaguely disturbing contexts (signing the Declaration of Independence, bursting out of a man's chest รก la Alien, Riding the Bomb from Dr Strangelove, etc). They still result in him being sent to a psychiatrist though.
- Seth himself was, however, fully aware that what he was doing was utterly bizarre and quite disturbing but was unable to stop himself, describing it as a sort of compulsion. This is the reason he attempted to conceal his drawings.
