I really can't get behind the movie's narrative, or at least as it's being described by some tropers here. It almost sounds like T'Challa's decision to end Wakanda' isolationist policies was ultimately a bad thing, and that it was wise for Ramonda to reverse that after he died. If anything, that's what started the movie's conflict, since the world is understandably pissed off with Wakanda promising to share their knowledge and resources with the world before reneging on that. The anti-colonial message also comes off as more anti-American that anything else. The US is one of the good guys on the world stage, like it or not, and it probably wouldn't use vibranium for military purposes only, which there's nothing wrong with doing anyway. And how is it a given that the surface would just invade and plunder Taloakan if it was discovered? It's the 21st century, not colonial times. How can Namor's actions be considered sympathetic when his only approach is to make threats or commit murder, especially when the surface world he knew as a child is much a different place now?

I'm inclined to agree to most of this, so I added a bit to Nice Job Breaking It, Hero where Ramonda's closing of the borders is mentioned.
