Need help distinguishing the context between Continuity Nod and Mythology Gag. As far as I understand, Continuity Nod is for references that did take place in the past while Mythology Gag is more on the meta level, as in taken in consideration, but not actually applied in the series. Please feel free to make corrections in the examples and explain your reasoning.
