So is MARI(The Unit 04 piloting system) a reference or just a coincidental naming similarity to Rebuild?

Depends on when that part was written; if my memory is correct Eva-R was one of the first Evangelion fanfics, created well before Rebuild even existed. So probably odd coincidence.

Does anybody know if the radio plays they used to have up for the story are still around anywhere? I how awesome I thought it was to find a fanfic with voice acted scenes way back when I was a kid and first stumbled across the story and thought it would be a fun jump back to my childhood to listen to them again only to find that they've apparently vanished into the ether of the net.
