Uhhhh....I seem to recall how Captian Marvel Jr had to change his name to "CM 3" because otherwise he couldn't say his own name lest he transform!

At least tell me the writers came up with some way to handwave this limitation away from "Shazam" now? Like having to actually WANT to change besides saying the word?

Really? We're going to make the original Captain Marvel share his name with the series of lukewarm characters Marvel comics churns out to keep DC from getting the name back?

We're now contributing to the I Am Not Shazam trope.
