I'd say they do qualify as Flat Characters though because despite those three clear "Arcs" they only had bare minimum of characteristics especially post-breakup where in every episode they were essentially doing the same tired shit that made Stepbrothers so hated except they became a Duncney rehash and they lasted longer.

You not liking the changes and arcs does not mean they don't exist. We need to stay unbiased on this site.

Should this just stay a link? The other option would involve cutting pages from the main Total Drama page. Not sure what would be best.
In regards to the usage of Flat Character on this page. The trope states they need to be "one that has only the bare minimum of characteristics necessary to play their role in the story". While that does fit some of the more gimmicky characters like LARPers, Tennis Rivals, Rockers, maybe Stepbrothers (debatable since they had sort-of kinda development).
I'd say it really doesn't qualify for Stephanie and Ryan. They had 3 clear arcs in changing their character. Being Sickeningly Sweethearts, Stephanie being competitive and the relationship becoming Unresolved Sexual Tension, and finally the break up and them fighting every episode. So not qualifying as Flat Character.
