I've just noticed that some entities still double-listed — for instance, the Porygon and Charmander from the Saffron City stage are listed here individually and on the Others page under a general "Saffron City Pokemon" folder in the stage hazards section — and I agree, there needs to be a clearer idea of what counts as an enemy and what doesn't. The definition proposed here sounds pretty good, I have no objections.

I think we need to be more discerning of what does and doesn’t count as an enemy. There are some characters still on the Others page that I would call an enemy, and some on this page that I wouldn’t. Here’s what I suggest: An enemy is something that can damage the player and that the player can defeat. A hazard is something that can damage the player, but that the player can’t damage at all. For example, all of the Small Fry Corps count as enemies, while the Arwings don’t.
