Sure, it is a significant part of the plot after all; the film is about Ruby struggling with her land life and Kraken life.

True. It honestly surprises me that even after the movie came and went, Ruby's profile still hasn't gotten an image of her kraken form while her mother does.

When was it stated in the movie that Chelsea/Nerissa cared about her kind and wanted to avenge them? I don't remember that being said.
Ok so are there any official sources on whether the crab’s name is Darby, Davey, or Davy? Because whenever I look it up I find either of the three.
It doesn’t help that he’s a very minor and trivial character, with no voice actor to be credited with, and that he’s connected to a character that was already missing a lot in the advertising of the movie (should say a lot about the marketing of this movie that we still aren’t sure how’s a character name supposed to be written btw).
