Is Yukko's nickname spelled Yukko or Yuuko? Wikipedia has Yukko, but I would hardly consider that definitive proof that it goes one way or the other, and the only reason I've been using Yukko is because that's the highest authority I've seen make use of the name.

Yuuko is her real name, and Yukko is a nickname.
