The "species" stat was arbitrarily removed from several pages by dmcreif without any discussion whatsoever. Since uniformity is what we want on the pages, shall we restore the stat and tell dmcreif that his editing is harmful?
Hide / Show RepliesShould Jason Ioenello should be added as a Current Student since he was apparently an Victim of the Snap along with Beth, Ned, MJ and Peter?? (Update: Never Mind someone edited it)
Edited by frederickzabalaThere is a problem with the case of Michelle's status as a Canon Character All Along.
I tried to keep it off the page, as Feige's comments on the matter say she's not an adaptation of Mary Jane at all, but others keep readding it and describing it as "An odd case", even though it's not a case at all. I tried to compromise and leave the trope in the list but listed as Averted, but it just got reverted to "An odd case" again.
So I brought it here to discuss how we should label the entry. Obviously, I'm in favor of keeping it listed as an aversion.
Edited by Eagal You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! Hide / Show RepliesI agree with you. Even within the context of the movie itself it is clear that Michelle is not Mary Jane, but a completely different character who fills the same function.
Canon Character All Along should be removed from her entry or turned into an Aversion.
Edited by AzureOwlIf it's an aversion, then it doesn't really count as Canon Character All Along. Should we just keep it off the page?
I would normally agree, but in this case so many people got the impression that she was supposed to be Mary Jane (even when she clearly isn't and that was confirmed by Word of God) that if the trope is not listed people will keep adding it.
Better to leave it as an Aversion, explaining why, than to have to come back every so often to remove it.
That was my thinking as well.

Since Peter was effectively kicked out of Midtown thanks to the memory spell, should his folder be moved down to the "Alumni" section?
