Why in the holy name of Ditko is Spider-Man listed under the Avengers? at no point in the entire game is it even remotely implied that he's part of the team. In fact...

"Hypocritical Humour: He has a go at the other Avengers, saying that the team in general is good at screwing things up. He's an Avenger too."

Uh, what? That line sounds more like the game going out of its way to make sure we know that Spidey isn't an Avenger!

He's a reserve member in the comics and was a member of at least two versions of the team. He also tended to hang around with the group a lot in the game.
