So, why people outright ignoring the journal statement of "So it was that Terra's Lingering will awakened and began wresting control of his body back from Xehanort"? He started to wrest control. Not "fighting his body", but actually wresting control. It's a huge difference.

Said in the context of the scene where the Lingering Will attacks Xehanort, in the same entry that says "So it was that Keyblade wielders from the past came and fought alongside Sora against the great Demon Tide."

I think we can agree Jiminy is taking from poetic license with events here.

The keywords are wresting control. Not fighting, wresting control.

Talk about reaching into headcanons and baseless assumptions. What next?

I think its more reaching and headcanon-ing to assume that the Lingering Will just put its will into the Guardian somehow since none of that occurs on screen and the big motivation for the Guardian to betray Xehanort is Ventus saying his promise and up to that point in the preceding bossfight it is business as usual as his puppet.

In game the journal describes the Lingering Will as a suit of armor imbued with Terra's thoughts and wishes, so it doesn't seem to have his soul (Which is just the spark of life like a battery in Kingdom Hearts lore so) or mind (Which isn't part of the 3 basic blocks of people according to lore to begin with).

Spark of life and the part that makes a person alive, as seen by Ansem reports. Soul is the part that makes nobodies move, think and having a conscious. There is no reason for him to otherwise move if the soul isn't actually controlling the armor as it vessel. Lingering Will is a continuation of existence for Terra, just like how Axel was a continuation of existence for Lea.

The thing is, Namine talked with Terra before 0.2, as the concert event is canon by Nomura, and the reason why Terra talked with Aqua during her time in the Ro D. Another fact is how Lingering Will is clearly sentient and having the conscious of Terra by- 1. Being able to talk, react and act by his own, you guessed it, will. 2. Clearly asking questions, drawing into conclusions, suspecting Sora for being Xehanort. After realising he was wrong, he stopped fighting him and called upon his strength. 3. While talking to Namine, having doubts in himself being able to help. 4. Clearly having his memories, thoughts and the memories of his emotions toward Aqua, Ven, Riku and Xehanort. While also acting like Terra. 5. Him being able to use all Terra's abilities, without a body or heart. Even his Keyblade. And not by some "Automatic manner". He clearly using tactics and reacting accordingly.

And the last thing that people keep forgetting is how, unless you turned WILLINGLY. A Heartless is mindless and act by his instincts of consuming hearts.

But whatever, why am I bothering with people who clearly didn't read the reports or interviews with Nomura. Guess in the next few days you will also deny Ultimania, right?

The soul makes everything move because its the spark of life. Nobodies are functional in absence of the heart because of willpower and their memories as a reservoir that they draw thought and emotion in its absence. At least according to the glossary. Terra's armor moves and speaks for him because its imbued with thoughts and wishes and through this speaks and acts on his behalf like a drone but it doesn't appear to contain anything vital since all the good bits are still keeping Terra's body alive or where used to make the Guardian.

Xehanort also spoke to Terra in Blank Points when his heart was swallowed to make the Guardian and if your correct all conscious thought is in a suit of armor. Terra seems for whatever reason able to act inside Terra-Xehanort, the Guardian and Lingering Will and there doesn't seem to be a disconnect between the three of them.

What interview with Nomura discusses this, and where in the Ultimania is it mentioned? Please link it if you have it so we can discuss them.

Otherwise, stop trying to cause trouble and insulting other users just because we disagree with your theory.

So, we got an answer from Ultimania. Guess we were all wrong and Nomura is just a fucking hack.

>Q: What happened to Lingering Will after the fight?

>Nomura: When Terra came back, it disappeared, as did the armor. However, a Keyblade wielder’s armor, like the Keyblade, will come back to them if the conditions are right.

LW fought Terranort, and literally decided to fuck off untill Terra came back and only then the armor came back to him.

This shit is so fucking retarded. Holy shit Nomura.

Wow, thats just sad. He really is totally clueless on what he's doing.

Oh, and Terra-Xehanort was a Xehanort from the past, and Guardian was Xehanort own creation of darkness that imprisoned Terra's Heart inside.

Like, it doesn't even make sense at this point.
