Isn't Michinaga an expy of Lu Bu? They do share similar traits, like switching allegiances to align to their interest, willing to backstab others at earliest convenience, being more brawn than brain, and his wish turning him into a warrior of peerless might in an episode called "Buffa Musou" in Japanese.

Still a little too coincidental, there are plenty of characters in other shows that do the first two and aren't Lu Bu expies, and the Musou thing is a bit of a stretch. Probably best not to put it on there.
Michinaga also seems like an expy of the old Sasuke Uchiha back in his younger revenge fueled days. Both are cold, ruthless, arrogant loners driven by hatred and desire for revenge, have a rivalry with a fox-themed protagonist, switching allegiances for the sake of their own goals and align with their own interest, and even willing to backstab others at earliest convenience.
