"* Token Minority: A minor and easily missed case, but Sousuke is muslim, secular as all hell, but still muslim."

How so? It's stated on the same damn character page that the twins that Gauron adopted (in the novels) look like Sousuke and are ASIAN.

Muslim's a religion, not an ethnicity. I think what they meant was that he's a lapsed Muslim.

Yeeeeaaaah...the wording on that entry is very, very iffy. I don't see how someone could be secular, but Muslim. xD

Muslim denotes someone who practices the religion of Islam, not a religion itself.

I don't recall any mention of Sousuke being stated outright that he was Muslim, though obviously it'd be implied, since he was with a Mujaheddin outfit.

Cluzout, on the other hand, is explicitly stated to be of French-Algerian descent and a practicing Muslim, hence why he asks for water at the bar. It's also used as part of his establishing character moment in the novels - he recalls a saying Mac Allen told him - "Better a living dog than a dead lion" and while dogs are considered unclean animals in Islam, he really likes that proverb because of his friendship with Mac Allen.
