I've got to reiterate what was said on here before: the negative tropes in regards to Cassie seem over the top. At this point I don't remember every detail of what she did in the series, but there's no way it can be fairly described as "atrocities". That's pure hyperbole.

Agreed. Should the troper who keeps doing this be reported? I’m not sure if this counts as edit warring but I feel like it does.

I think it might, though we'd have to look back on page history.

And the Ron The Death Eater editing of Cassie is still going strong in the YMMV page too. Yikes.

One troper seems to have re-added some tropes others removed, which breaks the edit war rule.

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but: I already said it in the edit reasoning for when I fixed it before, but someone keeps //greatly// exaggerating how bad Cassie gets in Season Two— which is //already// bad but:

Comparing her to Nate: “they become violent, abusive and controlling towards those who try to ruin their perfect dream.” How is Cassie running away from and getting her ass beat by Maddy Cassie being violent and abusive?? She threw the girl playing her off the carousel (which, playing someone you know and who you know will see it in an extremely embarrassing moment in a play meant to humiliate them, is a really shitty thing to do) and then didn’t really do anything else before Maddy run up on stage to attack her. And she ran away, because she’s a pathetic coward, not “a violent sociopathic abuser.”

“She reveals she’s always hated Lexi and Maddy” when? Cassie going “no YOU’RE the cunt after Maddy calls her a cunt is hardly some revelation of hidden disdain, but just Cassie being lame at insulting. Why does Cassie going on stage and trying to humiliate Lexi make her “a hateful abuser,” but Lexi making a play that focuses so much on unnecessarily humiliating and shaming Cassie doesn’t? And honestly, if Maddy isn’t as bad as Nate for helping frame an innocent person for assault, after lying that they raped her when she was blackout drunk, Cassie isn’t for dating Nate behind Maddy’s back. Still a beyond shitty friend to Maddy, of course.

She was stupid and selfish and cowardly this season, but to say she’s the same as NATE is beyond unreasonable. Or saying she’s “a sociopath,” when Cassie has exhibited next to no symptoms of anti-social personality disorder. The same person making these inaccurate edits also said Cassie was as bad as LAURIE, a drug-pushing human sex trafficker!

I’m not going to delete/rewrite their edits AGAIN, because I don’t want to Edit War, but this is ridiculous. No offense meant to the person making those edits, this is a tv show and nothing is personal.

I agree. Cassie has been a jerk for sure, but she's not Nate. That's absurd. I can only infer the editor adding this hates the character, and of course they're entitled to, but the tropes added don't fit.

Removed from main page, as there is a cleanup effort on one of the pages linked here underway and I am not sure what to do with this entry:

  • Jail Bait: She has sex with Tyler in order to get back at her boyfriend, which ends up with disastrous consequences for him as she's only seventeen.

Not sure why Rue has "Ambiguously Gay" and "Ambiguous Disorder" under her character sheet when both are confirmed in the show through her uncomfortable/reluctant romantic/sexual interactions with men versus her comfortability with women (Jules/Lexi) and in the very first episode it's confirmed that she has OCD, bipolar, and AD(H)D(?) and the fact that there's a bullet point under that says "The seventh episode "The Trials and Tribulations of Trying to Pee While Depressed" more-or-less confirms Rue's depression." Would she not qualify for "Butch Lesbian" and "Broken Bird"?

Does Nate really qualify as bisexual? Because the idea that his questionable attraction to Jules makes him not-straight kinda reeks of Trans Equals Gay and suggests that Jules doesn't actually qualify as a girl...
