Big congrats to the letter S for winning the race against the letter D to see which individual letter would need the first page split. D can take consolation from the fact that it was handicapped by "demon," "devil" and "dragon" all being on their own subpages.

Copy-pasting the S page source into Word puts it at 112 pages long sans header, so splitting it at page 56, between "Slyth" and "Soarwhale," is a near-even break. So unless there are any objections or someone feels like beating me to it, I plan on splitting this page into Dungeons And Dragons Creatures S Part One and Dungeons And Dragons Creatures S Part Two at some point Soon. Little leery of trying anything big right before database stuff happens.

As for why "Creatures S Part One" and "Two" rather than "Creatures Sa Through Sl" and "Creatures So through Sy:" it's to make things a little easier in case a third S page is ever needed.

Maybe we can assume the letter Q is giving up its rights to ever having its own page, in order to accommodate S for coming at the start of a disproportionate number of monster names.

Honestly, this is about as big a deal as splitting one of the "_ to _" letter pages. And it will put us at 25 D&D creature-related pages and subpages, compared to Pokemon and its 33 pokemon type and species pages.

Having two "Star Spawn" folders is annoying me, not least because the (4E) in the second folder title is spacing weirdly. We have two folders of aberrants/aberrations, so we can't distinguish them by monster type like the two different incarnations of eladrins over on the E page, but they're too different to pack into the same folder.

So, I propose giving the 5E "star spawn" their original 4E name of "foulspawn" and adding a note in the remaining "star spawn" folder to the effect of "for the creatures 5th Edition refers to as 'star spawn,' see 'foulspawn.'" Because this isn't a situation where one edition reimagined a creature from a previous edition, this is a case where 4th Edition introduced two clearly different groups of creatures, and 5th Edition for some reason brought back one under the other's name. Kind of like if 4E introduced orcs and bugbears, and 5E decided to call the big sneaky goblinoids "orcs."

And I have a feeling that, if we'd finished these creature pages back during 4th Edition and then reacted to 5th Edition, we'd have kept the foulspawn and star spawn labeled as they were, and added a note explaining 5E's weirdness to the latter's folder.
