The ghost that keeps popping up in No Longer Human, would that count as Pragmatic Adaptation as it didn't exist in the novel? At the same time, it wasn't necessary as the story is about Yozo's anguish and didn't need a semi-supernatural element reminding the viewers that he is miserable. Help please?
