Ella's dynamics and how the character is played is very much in a first Officer mode (in the Captain/first officer Red Pill M Arriage model suggested by Athol Kay) - actually a very internally strong confident woman. Crossref Shaw's model for Eliza Doolittle (a consort battleship).

The dynamics between Ella and Charming were very much that they were equal, and basically wanted each other. Right then.

Why is a girl with no place else to go (realistically) seen as meek and "domestic" and considered never doing anything to help herself? Is this not victim blaming (and factually wrong- she is the one who accepts help and wins the prince, as Walt himself points out). This analysis seems pretty patronizing and offensive despite its actual message.
