*Adaptation Dye Job: Aurora had pale blonde hair in her movie, and tannish skin, but is usually pale with reddish hair in merchandise. Cinderella had titian hair in her film, but is blonde in the franchise. There\'s also all sorts of weird stuff going on with the eye colors, mainly due to discontinuity in the movies.

Aurora\'s hair is pure blonde in TheMerch--in the movies it seems to have a more gold tint to it, but the entire coloring scheme is unique to that movie, while the Disney Princesses are colored with the same inks. *Ariel\'s not being included may verge on Fridge Brilliance when you realize that in the source work (not the Disney movie), she was not concerned about the prince so much as she was about having a soul.
to:
*Shallow Love Interest: The blandness of the early Disney Princes is subject to much mocking by fans. Averted with Beast, Aladdin and Naveen, epically.

Disney doesn\'t follow the original fairy tales that closely. Besides that, she \'\'does\'\' want a prince, but finds out that when he doesn\'t want her, knows she\'s going to die and chooses not to kill him to spare herself. She wants a soul because mermaids don\'t have one and she\'ll have to spend eons earning one. As sea foam. I\'m positive her non-inclusion has to do with her being a mermaid.
