\\\"Critical\\\" is in \\\"CriticalResearchFailure\\\" for a reason. \\\"This is a particular instance where a story or character has something - a statement, the depiction of something - that is so egregiously off-the-scale in terms of inaccuracy that \\\'\\\'\\\'anyone with a high school education and/or a cursory knowledge of the subject realizes the writers made the whole thing up.\\\'\\\'\\\'\\\" (emphasis mine)

On to specifics:

* The title of the first book and the opening quote is from Tactus. However the quote \\\"They make a desert and call it peace\\\" was about how the Roman would rape and plunder the land they invaded and when it was barren of resources and people, they would say they made it peaceful. We\\\'re suppose to be rooting for the main characters who are essentially [[RecycledINSPACE Romans IN SPACE!]] but he opens with a quote about how horrible the Romans could be.

Where\\\'s the \\\"critical\\\"? Few outside the hardcore researchers would even know there\\\'s more to the quote, let alone the full context.

* The Main Character\\\'s nickname \\\"Blue Djinn\\\", which is given to him in the first chapter, is wrong. In the book it says that the Blue Djinn were evil and that\\\'s why he was named that. Except the Blue Djinn, or Marid as they are properly called, were arrogant not evil. They had free will and could choice whether or not to be evil, as do human.

When claiming research inaccuracies, you should try not to make your own. The \\\"blue\\\" of the nickname is referring to Carrera\\\'s CreepyBlueEyes.

* Says Hispanic is an accent.

So do a lot of people, judging from a quick google search on \\\"hispanic accent\\\". Again, where\\\'s the \\\"critical\\\"?
