Regarding the TomboyAndGirlyGirl entry, I just don\'t see how it fits, especially in the case of Karen and Miyo. Yes, Karen has a couple of traits which could read as tomboyish, but she also has some \'\'very\'\' girly traits such as her interest in fashion, her love of cute things, and her ability to play TheOjou. These aren\'t the qualities of a tomboy. Miyo is more restrained, but she\'s not any more feminine than Karen is, particularly given her complete lack of interest in things like fashion and romance. They\'re equally girly, just in different ways.

Tatsuko is a little closer, since she\'s more of a tough girl type, but she\'s also a would-be stylist who\'s into fashion and cosmetics, and the protagonist just doesn\'t have enough characterization in the game to be set up as a contrasting girly girl.

I know that the trope does not require absolutes on either side, but I just don\\\'t see any contrast made between the two characters. They\\\'re equally girly, just in different ways.
