Pokemon example probably should go under yellow and blue. at least where the anime is concerned. I\'ve noticed that all Gen1 and 2 Electric Types use yellow lightning. while all Gen3 and Gen4 Electric Types use Blue lightning unless related to a Gen1 or 2 pokemon. Gen 5 and 6 pokemon use yellow again unless related to a Gen3 or 4 pokemon.
