Changed line(s) 1 from:

to:
Mass Effect 3:
My change was undone citing \\\"fanon is not allowed\\\". Please consider following aspects:
1.
Bioware intended the ending to be interpreted by the players in different ways. There is no single canon defined by BioWare:

Game director and executive producer, Casey Hudson said:

\\\"I didn\\\'t want the game to be forgettable, and even right down to the sort of polarizing reaction that the ends have had with people-debating what the endings mean and what\\\'s going to happen next, and what situation are the characters left in.\\\"
\\\"The indoctrination theory illustrates again how, um, committed the fanbase is. We don\\\'t want to comment either way. Don\\\'t want to be prescriptive — fans interpret their own way.\\\"
\\\"There has always been a little bit of mystery there and a little bit of interpretation, and it\\\'s a story that people can talk about after the fact.\\\"

2.
Several BioWare staff commenting that the endings will be perceived much more favorable after the players receive future content:

Michael Gamble, Mass Effect Producer, 2 days after the release hinting that players will just love Mass Effect 3 after future content will be released:
https://twitter.com/GambleMike/status/177942797880541185

\\\"Hardest. Day. Ever. Seriously, if you people knew all the stuff we are planning...you\\\'d, we\\\'ll - hold onto your copy of me3 forever.\\\"

BioWare Community Manager Jessica Merizan on twitter:
http://www.thevine.com.au/life/tech/mass-effect-3-and-the-ending-debacle/

BioWare hinting that upcoming content (Mass Effect 4?) will make all those fans happy which are now disappointed by the \\\"ending plot holes\\\" / \\\"ending senselessness\\\".

User 4: \\\"Are you holding something back, that could quell the large amount of frustration from the community, a tiny hint would be enough.\\\"
@masseffect: \\\"Mike Gamble already said on his twitter, if the fans knew what was in store, the reaction would be different.\\\"

3.
BioWare hinting that the ending decisions will have an effect on the story of Mass Effect 4:

User 3: \\\"I kinda feel lost after that ending...not what I expected and left me feeling everything done was for nothing.\\\"
@masseffect: \\\"We know it\\\'s a lot to take in! But hang in there. Your decisions matter.\\\"

User 5: \\\"I loved 98% of ME3..but something has to be up w/ ending..too much talent at BW for that business. Keep my saves?\\\"
@masseffect: \\\"We\\\'re keeping our saves, that\\\'s for sure.\\\"

4.
BioWare hinting that not everything seen on screen in the ending was really happening (but instead a hallucination of Shepard):

User 7: \\\"Its not that the ending was taken in the wrong direction its that it makes NO SENSE. Ashley was on the Normandy? she [was] with me.\\\"
@masseffect: \\\"Probably a good thing to be cautious of.\\\"

BioWare asking the players to interpret the endings by themselves before BioWare will clarify the ending in the future:

User 1 - \\\"Well, i think i\\\'ll stop naggin you and trying to get you to talk about the indoctrination theory. :( Good game though!\\\"
Merizan - \\\"I want people to make up their own minds right now, then when more people have played we\\\'ll talk :)\\\"

BioWare saying that it cannot confirm Shepard being lied to by the Child and lying in London hallucinating without spoiling the mystery for the players:

User 2 - \\\"then I want to SEE that he was lying. I want to get up and finish the fight with Commander Shepard. Then retire.\\\"
Merizan - \\\"augh. want. to. discuss! Staying spoiler free for now :P\\\"

BioWare hinting that Shepard was not discussing with the Child in the decision chamber but instead fighting the Reapers:

User 3 - \\\"But should\\\'ve confronted the kid instead. Shep went meekly into the night.\\\"
Merizan - \\\"are you sure he went meekly into the night?\\\"

BioWare hinting that the Child should no be trusted:
https://twitter.com/JessicaMerizan/statuses/180492732215734272

\\\"@CmdrOwenShepard Well, depending on what you think of the Guardian, maybe it wasn\\\'t being truthful?\\\"

BioWare\\\'s Jessica Merizan even linked to the page on BSN discussing the Indoctrination Theory.

BioWare\\\'s Jessica Merizan hints that Shepard does not need to die and will get together with with his/her love interest (despite them being _shown_ stranded on a remote planet and destroyed Mass Relays preventing fast travel):

\\\"@vrumpt Hasn\\\'t Shep earned being able to celebrate with his/her LI after saving the galaxy? Ignore the dieing part :p\\\"

BioWare\\\'s Jessica Merizan saying that even the cut scenes after the decision chamber look almost identical, the in-game reality was different depending on the players last choice (which interpreted extremely, means the Reapers can win):
https://twitter.com/JessicaMerizan/status/180493962228928512

\\\"@MortarnPistol @JSixgun @dee3eep It totally didn\\\'t end the same for everyone. Similar cut scenes do not equal same endings.\\\"

And finally,
Why would it be OK to have the tropes \\\"Or was it a dream\\\" and \\\"All just a dream\\\" to be assignet with the movie \\\"Total Recall\\\" form 1990? In that movie it\\\'s also only up to the viewers decision whether he thinks the Hero is in a dream up until the end of the movie... or not.
It\\\'s inconsequential to not allow the appropriate tropes to be assigned to Mass Effect 3 given that with the game, the game staff even gave the amount of evidence described above.

Regards.
