Nah, they couldn\'t be considered background ponies because they play a major role in the setting. Albeit \

Well, we could put them in the Miscellaneous page (since they don\\\'t fit in any existing category) and have a section dedicated to them (fictional characters and historical figures) there. At least until we could figure out where to put them.
If we are going to do that then I think that \\\"Miscellaneous\\\" will no longer be a valid page title since these guys are far from miscellaneous. \\\"Others\\\" would be a much more versatile title as it implies that it contains characters that does not fit in any of the other character categories regardless of importance or significance but are still official material nonetheless. It would also serve as a placeholder page for future new upcoming characters that does not have an immediately obvious category.
Or we could make a sub-page for them but that\\\'s a bit too much since there\\\'s not many of them and would present issues similar to \\\"Celebronies\\\".
