One thing led to another, and he became one of the most ruthless men in the Legion before being disgraced in battle (in part because he\'s not a tactician, which led to massive casualties of his own men when led to a trap) and thrown off the Grand Canyon while covered in pitch and burning. It was then that Joshua redeemed himself heavily (although still with aggressive efficiency) and returned to New Canaan as a prodigal son.
