Okay that trope is opinionated by nature since it relies on the view of the fandom, but it seems that his characterization goes from extremely dangerous minus who actually did some severe damage to \\\"weakest guy who just wants to win\\\". Perhaps this is just me.

The other possible theories I can think of is that it\'s the Master, since the sound resembled the Paradox Machine, or that it\'s the TARDIS breaking down in some way.

The first one doesn\\\'t really fit with the current storyline (And is only based on a callback), while the second is intertwined with the story of the previous series but doesn\\\'t seem like something the Doctor would react so calmly to.
