Ranma is a complete abrasive and insulting jerk to Akane and absolutely refuses to admit any positive feelings he has for her. When it comes down to it, it\\\'s not hard to see he does care about Akane a lot and, as long as their feelings for each other are not being alluded to in any way, they get along pretty well.
