regarding Brigitte, I'd like to address the main ladder play and the pro-scene seperately, if you don't mind.

While she is a recent addition to the Competitive ladder, the fact that she was OP at launch was fairly evident to anyone playing Quickplay or Deathmach in the arcade. to the point where most people fully expected the nerfs once she joins competitive. sure enough, it didn't take long for them to happen.

But the impact she's had on Competitive is fairly massive. According to data sites like Overbuff, ever since her release, the Meta at the higher levels of play (Diamond to GM) has shifted, and she is now one of the 6 most picked characters. She's not the ONLY factor to shift the Meta in such a way (the new Hanzo is also a factor) but she's a big part of the shift away from Dive characters to the new deathball style Meta.

But while \"the Meta\" mostly effects the Top 10% of the playerbase, the data on her in lower ranks is even more problematic. Going from Silver to Platinum (where roughly 75% of the player based are), she\'s got one of the highest pickrates in the game, being in the top 5 most picked in each rank.

On its own, that wouldn\'t be enough to indicate a problem, as there ARE other characters with even higher pickrates, but its not the only relevant data. Her win-rates, are also extraordinarily high, being outclassed only by Symmetra whose win-rates are inflated by the nature of how the data collection happens.

So the result is that not only is Brigitte picked far more then most of the rest of the cast - but NOT having a Brigitte on your team, vastly decreases your chance of winning.
So across the ladder, Silver to GM, she\'s an extremely strong presence, and her status as a high-tier character, at the very least, is not really up for debate.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As for the Pro-scene, while she has not completely taken over it, there ARE some things to consider.

Firstly, its worth noting that the Meta has been \"Dive\" for a very long time, and most teams seem to be sticking to what they are comfortable on for now. So while Brigitte is getting SOME play, she\'s not yet the dominant pick in most teams.
It\'s also worth noting that After her original Release, Ana also didn\'t immediately take over the Meta - it took a little while before Ninja\'s in Pajamas demonstrated how effective the triple tank setup was - but when the change happened, it was complete, and the Tank Meta was entirely dominant.

But the exception to that rule, has been the Dallas Fuel, a team that has LONG been struggling. Dallas has been running Brigitte far and away the most, with roughly 3 times as much Brigitte playtime then any other team.

And the result is, that Dallas, a team previously considered one of the weakest in the entire league, has just recently beaten both the Philadelphia Fusion, and the Boston uprising - two teams who in previous stages have both made it to the Finals.
So its entirely possible that Dallas\'s current improved performance is exactly the kind of thing that led to the Triple tank Meta.

And while the version of Brigitte being played in the OWL currently is the pre-nerf version, her post-nerf version is not massively different from it. the Nerfs were deliberately minor to avoid overnerfing her (according to Geoff Goodman, at least).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also, its worth noting that every single character in the game has an entry in this page, so Brigitte being the only one missing is just odd at this stage. its not as if the effects of her addition to the game aren\'t visible at this stage, and if things change the entry can always be edited.

For your consideration.
