I think you’re mistaken Touyas plot was always the main focus. If you pick Calvina’s route you will see less of him at first but he takes over regardless. It’s not that his plot isn’t important at first it’s he goes through character development. But on his route he pilots from the first stage. Calvina’s revenge is a subplot at best. Even on her own route, it’s very clear it’s not part of the largest scale of things. Then on Touya’s route Calvina gets barely any focus at all.
