Sonic and Tails could easily have gathered the Emeralds (or they still had them since the last adventure) prior to Blaze's arrival so that she could go back right after attending Sonic's birthday party. In fact, they must have had them when they invited her to it, as no other way of traveling to or communicating with Blaze's world has been established so far. Use the emeralds to go to Blaze's world to tell her about the party, then keep the emeralds on hand until Blaze gets back to the world.
