So I posted in the [[http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=vlg1uzb341i088oyrs98t49g&page=735#18356 Gundam thread]] a while back that this page seems oddly overly complimentary to \'\'Try\'\'\'s reception which, from what I\'ve seen, is at the very kindest is \"it\'s almost as good as \'\'GBF\'\'\" and even that seems to be an overwhelming majority to \"it\'s not very good.\" This may have something to do with the fact that at least the ToughActToFollow entry was clearly added during the show\'s original run. I sorta dropped the issue since I hadn\'t seen \'\'Try\'\' yet and no one really seemed to care either.
* ContestedSequel: Opinions are split on whether or not Try is just as good as the first season or doesn\'t live up to its predecessor. See Tough Act to Follow below.
** \'\'\'I\'ve literally never heard anyone say it\'s as good as the first season. ** As the show is approaching its final 6 or so episodes, some of the complaints are mirroring those of the ones \'\'Anime/MobileSuitGundamZZ\'\' got compared to \'\'Anime/MobileSuitZetaGundam\'\'[[note]]At least during \'\'ZZ\'\'\'s initial episodes - \'\'Zeta\'\' fans don\'t really complain about its [[DarkerAndEdgier second half]][[/note]], in that it feels completely different to the previous show and that it\'s not a worthy sequel compared to the previous one.
