openOld police mech game Videogame
I remember an old game from when I was young that I have no idea of what it is called, that featured what at first looked like a futuristic police car that suddenly turns into a mech in the introduction to the first stage. From what I remember it was vaguely 3D and played in an isometric view (I think it could be rotated though not to sure). I also remember that the mech had a full assortment of weapons, one which I do remember as some sort of small nuke that was launched straight upward from the mech and then crashed at the enemy a short while later. I also remember that in the first stage there was a huge tank that had to be destroyed due to it blocking a path in one part of the stage. Anyone has any clue to what it might be for a game?
openweird psychedelic youtube channel or video Web Original
i remember this really weird video about a woman with paper eyes over her eyes doing some weird crafting tutorial on the style of 80s children shows, and some kind of weird looking puppet cat(?) with lots of allusions to mushrooms there are others characters like a woman obscured on shadows ("identity protection on a interview" style) and a girl who has a paper mouth over her mouth (yeah its pretty surreal)
openIt was a 2015-16 show, I think. Hero brought back from death. Must get in tank regularly. Live Action TV
OK, here's what I can remember. Show's hero committed suicide because he was a dirty cop (I think). He was rescued by a very smart (and rich) computer programmer. This resulted in him being I think somewhat stronger than normal, and requiring some time in a tank full of liquid every few days to keep the process from reversing. He liked to drive old cars, and had to keep coming up with excuses why he, a young-ish person, had memories from his time on the force from many years back.
Also the house had this odd cartoon character AI that also showed up in the cars.
openAnimal show
Hey everyone, so I randomly remember this show from years ago. Its was a little kid show with a monkey who was a train conductor and I'm pretty sure they were puppets and it took place in the jungle and the monkey conductor would visit other animals and there would be music. (Sorry for the vagueness this was such a long time ago
openMartial Art TV reality Show
Ok guys, this is bugging me i seen this tv realty type show about 13+ years ago and it is about random everyday martial art students that went on to this show to compete on who would be the best. they used to get trained by the monk masters and at the end of each episode they would have to fight each other to stay in the house.. i think they were all british aswell.
openJungle with kids...? Western Animation
I remember a cartoon that took place in the jungle and there was two kids i think were brother and sister it was kinda aztec-y there were temples but there was one episode where the boy lost his tooth and was told not to bury or throw it into or leave or whatever in some haunted area downside of a cliff and he did and bad haunting things happened it's just been bugging me i don't know what it is.
openEuropean (?) SciFi film Film
When I was a kid I saw a science fiction horror movie on TV. It was almost certainly of European - perhaps Italian - origin, dating from around the early 1960's. One of the characters was a cyborg or a flesh-covered robot or somesuch. In one scene he's feeling rather ill. There's a close-up of his midsection as he pulls the front of his costume open, and the flesh falls off the blinking mechanical innards like so much rotten hamburger meat. (I believe it was a crude but effective stop-motion sequence.)
I want to say the title was something like War of the Satellites or Battle of the Planets or something similar, but there are several movies with that title formula.
If anyone can definitively identify the movie, I'd be forever grateful.
openLate 90s/Early 00s scary kids show Live Action TV
I have been searching on and off for years for what scary show I was watching on Saturday mornings. No idea what channel. It was mock-umentary style horror for kids, not Don't Be Afraid of the Dark or Goosebumps style. I remember there being an episode trying to find a man who lived in the sewer (they were nervous because it got dark, ended up with blurry video of it), as well as stories about the ghost of a boy haunting a house across from a graveyard. I think there was also an episode with a group of kids or teens in a bedroom and there were eyes looking from the closet, but I could be combining shows. I don't *think* it was Truth or Scare, but it had a female narrator like that. Again, paranormal faux documentary kids show, aired Saturday mornings in the US sometime between 1998 and 2003. Live action, not animated. Thanks y'all.
openWestern Film- Shaman, Bison and Lava Film
I saw the movie when I was a kid, sometime around 2001-2005ish on TV with my parents. I don't know how old it was, but it was in color and the overall quality makes me guess it was made withing the last couple decades (quite good bracketting, I know). What I remember of the plot centered around this fairly standard 'town with a secret', that a group of cowboys had just rode into, and the one scene I clearly remember was a man in a western barber outfit (black vest, white button down shirt, those black strips on the elbows to keep them tight) hitting a man in the face with a shovel. Right affter that, a mysterious Native American showed up on a bison, and led him away. Later, he took two of the cowboys, unconscious for some reason, away as well, though I don't remember why, and threw them, into this random canyon full of lava. Both got shots superman-cam style as the fell down, showing their face, and them waking up and screaming right before they hit the surface. Weird as hell movie, be awesome if someone knew what it was. T Hanks!
openI can't find this one cleaning show i was obsessed with Live Action TV
I found the show it was called how clean is your house
Edited by SirCorpseopenA sci-fi novel series about a prince, had a lightsaber that gave people cancer...? Literature
I read the entire series in high school, but now I can't remember the title. I remember that it had a not-lightsaber that would give the wielder cancer if they weren't of noble blood, and a space station the next galaxy over... the space-nobles were gene-modified to be perfect human beings... anyone else remember this?
openNative American Chant Music
In school I remember learning this Native American chant (though it could maybe be from somewhere else). It went something similar to this: Gishay Gishay ee manihu x3 Mamuhayha wamatah x3 Gishay Giahay ee manahu Hey Hey Any iidea? Not sure about the spelling, so Google is not much help.
openSong with a Suspiciously Similar Chorus Music
I heard this song the other day playing in Wal-Mart. It sounded kind of like soft rock/folk. The chorus sounded a lot like "I Want It That Way" by The Backstreet Boys (not like I listen to them or anything), specifically the part where they sing "ain't nothin' but a heartache." In the song, it was a whole step (two pitches) lower than "I Want It That Way," and it went something like "ain't nothin' but love(?)," and was sung by an older male singer. The tune sounded undeniably similar, though. Anyone know what it was?
openYoutube Poop with Robotnik dancing Web Original
I remember seeing a Youtube Poop a long time ago that featured AOSTH Robotnik dancing to the beat of "Dani California" by Red Hot Chili Peppers. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
openYoutube Video with bunnies Web Original
I'm looking for this weird flash video on Youtube that had a bunch of bunnies in it and the main bunny was singing a song in Spanish or Portugese with a guitar and the other bunnies were singing backup vocals. The song was catchy but the bunnies looked sort of creepy.
openInternet comic strip Web Original
A good illustration for The Chain of Harm: A manager yells at a an employee, who takes it out on his wife, who takes it out on their son, who takes it out on his cat, who stabs the manager.
Anyone know the one?
openThe Sweet: Love is Like Oxygen as space battle music... possibly?
I'm either imagining this or it's from something really obscure but I seem to recall The Sweet's Love is Like Oxygen being used in a movie or book or something as music for a space battle. I thought it was the book 'Armada' but I wasn't familiar with the song or the band when I read that (therefore I would probably not aurally recognise and associate it) and it's not in the provided song list on one of the back pages either. I just have this really strong association with the song and someone flying into a space battle whilst playing it. I'm pretty sure I'm imagining this but if anyone is able to confirm that I'm not it'd be great.
Edited by Automaton120openChildhood Tv Show Live Action TV
There's this tv series I used to watch as a kid, it featured a male creature (he's not the main character) who always rolled into his underground library to pick out a book to read/narrate and once he picked it out, the animation for the story starts. I can't remember much but I do know the main characters were much larger in size, and at the end they would play with bubbles, really large ones. Anyone else watched it?
I watched a few years ago these cilps from a show that I thought was called "News For You." It was a show that had a group of travelling reporters that would go to different parts of the country and interview people. All of the reporters were special needs, the show was great. I cannot for the life of me find this anywhere now. I remember one episode they went to a prison rodeo. Can anyone help?
