openA mecha anime that was once on ABC 3 back about ten years ago Anime
OK. The show involved this guy piloting a small mecha in a setting with a bunch of floating islands. I renember that the same mecha came to try and either kill or kindap him, and that he left his mother or some other female relative behind. The bad guys had some kind of floating brick wall ship (not actually a brick wall, I renember it looked a lot like one) and the show was definately a dubbed anime. It aired on channel 3 of the Australian Broadcasting Company, back during the Roller Coaster era. I've been trying to find it ever since. Please help!!!
openI remember the dog and not much else... Western Animation
I don't remember many details but: A cartoon - I think it's American - about a family that lives in the suburbs and they variously deal with problems. What I remember is that they had Hungarian sheepdog (on of those mop-looking big dogs that was white). The colors of the show overall were quite muted and favored pastels. I used to watch it in the early 2000s and though I watched it with other Nickelodeon shows I did't watch it directly on Nick. I know it isn't much but...
Edited by CooingQuiveropenPhone call from beyond on children's phone Film
I remember seeing a live action movie probably from the 80s or 90s where someone communicated with ghosts using a children's toy phone. Probably something family friendly and not r rated because I saw it with my parents, but we had the exact toy phone in the movie and it creeped me out for awhile. The phone was one of those Fisher Price rotary ones like this:

An animated movie where two kids are given a snowflake and asked to go to another dimension/ world. They have to get back before their snowflake melts, Along the way they meet snow white and she has some sort of a north eastern accent I believe. They also meet other fairytale characters and at the end all of the characters are there in some large room. Some witch shows up and they decide to let her in at the end.

openMid 90s cartoon. Like Bobby's World but the main character was a black kid. Western Animation
There is a song from a cartoon from the mid 90s that I have had stuck in my head ever since I heard it. I believe the main character was a black kid and in this episode I think he was being made fun of by an uncle or family member. From what I remember he made some sort of downhill go-cart that he was racing. The lyrics that I have stuck in my head are "knobby knees, aerosol cheese".
openNeed help with an Anime Anime
Hi... So, this might be a bit of a challenge and it has been bugging me for a while now. I remember watching this anime when I was younger, it wasn't on TV so I can't really tell any channel, I downloaded it from a website... I think it was around 2000 and something.
What I remember: There was 3 main characters, a girl and two guys (one dark haired and one blonde, I think), the two guys were protecting or escorting the girl somewhere. The guy with black hair didn't talk much and the blonde haired guy was very friendly and talkative (And he later betrays them). They used this black robots to fight (something like a mecha, but not very big) and I remeber this scene where, after one of the fights the black haired guy is sitting in the robot with the cockpit open and tears are coming from his eyes... One guy said that it was a sign he could be trusted since when you pilot these robots there's a lot of emotions flowing (?). Other scene I remember is some kind of explosion happening and the black haired guy protecting the girl from incoming debris, he got a scar on his back after that. And lastly, I think later was revealed that there's was something related to actual children brains being used in the making of these robots, which was the explanation about all the emotions you feel when you pilot them Anyways... It's a long shot, but I really wanted to remeber the anime and I can't find anything about it. Thanks in advance
openTwo TV-series from late 80s to early 90s Live Action TV
Ages ago I saw two TV shows (possibly mini-series) on Swedish summer TV. Both shows were youth-oriented, and likely from Australia or New Zealand (as was common at the time). This was around 1990-92, absolutely no later than 95. I've been trying to find out what they were for a long, long time now.
1. This show followed a group of kids that were chased by a villain on a motorcycle. The villain wore a black helmet with visor that completely hid his face, and his identity was a mystery. In the final episode he was revealed to be a character seen before in the show, an older man with (I believe) a grey beard. I don't know why he was chasing them. Fairly certain this one was from NZ or Australia.
2. This one was a bit more serious than the former. All I remember is that two teenage boys (I think later teens) were on the run, chased by the authorities this time. In the final episode, one of the boys crashes his car at a construction site/city dump/something like it. There's a shot of him trying and failing to open the door, then the car explodes, killing him. The other boy is taken by the authorities (at a different site) and I think the last shot is of him being driven away in a car. This might even have been an American show.
openYuri manga about a Mayfly December Romance Anime
I remember once reading a oneshot (?) about a woman in her 20s or 30s who was in a relationship with a woman in her 60s or 70s.
resolved Victorian Steam Heists *Solved* Videogame
There was a game that i believe i saw a year or so ago on gog.com, but i cant find it there anymore. It was set in a sort of steampunk world, but you played as a human thief, and your goal was to clear out all the cash in each area by hacking into security stuff. I wasnt a very colorful game, but i think its art style was fairly distinct.
Edited by gert10openStill can’t remember and i don’t think anybody can?
two families in different houses(?) - tho i don’t think they are actually houses maybe more like sets or room- compete against each other to see who can spend the least money and get along the best with each other all in the same set. they can make choices regarding lunches, where they sleep, if they can make the other family suffer through the night with dog barking noises and leaving if they can’t stand each other. a member leaving costs them money. they can do i think one challenge to earn money in a separate room, everybody participates. there is also a segment where they bring in the black sheep of the family be it a cousin or sister. please help, this has been on my mind for years, not even my mum -who watched this with me- can remember. i can’t even remember the chanel it was on.
openWoman with really orange hair
There’s a movie about this woman with two *really* bright orange braids who is a famous Manic Pixie Dream Girl character irl, and that’s honestly all I can remember.
Edited by Loopytires55openCartoon Network Web Series Western Animation
Okay so this was maybe 2005 and I definitely remember it being on Cartoon Network's website but I remember this little girl living in an apartment building with a bunch of animals? There was an episode I think about her not trying to pecked by a chicken?
openIndie game set in a cute orwellian dystopia Videogame
I heard of this game a while ago. It's a 2D open-world game set in a world that's bright and colorful with a style similar to Loco Roco,, but based around a town that's ruled by a totalitarian mayor who has cameras spying on everyone. The character you play as is a red oval with long skinny legs and white dots for eyes, and can retract its legs to roll down slopes. You start the game by rescuing some citizens of the town who got lost, and mention that they aren't allowed to leave the town. You can also get a home in the town complete with a switch that activates dance-party lights. The title was some kind of nonsense words, which is why I can't remember it.
Edited by TBTabbyopenEarly to Mid 1980's tv show
There was a short lived tv show in the early to mid 80's (may have been a cable network) it featured two guys that had weird long chins. sorta cresent moon shaped. I believe they mumbled and were fighters. they may have been British. anyone remeber this al t all?
I saw a badly made movie once, and I don't remember how or where, but I'd like to be able to track down the name of it if possible. As I recall, a young adult or teen, along with some of his friends, get their hands on a new piece of military technology. It's a special pair of heat vision goggles. Once he puts them on, he can't take them off again, so he can only see heat, and not light. Then, at some point, the goggles turn invisible. They all go on some kind of adventure, and the goggles are both an advantage and an obstacle, so he and his friends have to help each other out. At some point, as he is failing to get used to seeing only heat, I remember him saying in a half-crazed voice, "I am at one with the UNIVERSE!"
Any ideas?
