openIdle defense game I played on Kongregate Videogame
I played this game on Kongregate once, but I can't find it under the Idle category. The game takes place in some kond of dungeon or temple, and there's a big floating crystal that you have to protect from waves of monsters trying to destroy it. You kill the monsters by clicking them to shoot magic bolts at them and by hiring heroes to fight for you. There are dozens or heroes to hire, but you and they are sorted into categories and get bonuses when they're in the same party.
openAnimated series with mystery and detective animals Western Animation
Hi everyone!
I can't remember too much but this series was on Fox Kids or maybe on Jetix. It had a pretty evil and mysterious villain hiding in an underground cave and I remember something about ravens. The good guys were detectives, I think animals maybe. The main conflict was between the detectives and the villain. It was slightly creepy at least for me when I was young, the plots of the episodes had always something mysterious or supernatural in them. The intro had a very catchy but a little wierd music.
If any of you remembers this I would be extremely grateful! I've been looking for this series for a year now.
openhelp
I found this short animation on Scratch that has a song that I don't know the name of: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/112656377/ Does anyone know what the music is from?
next: I found a book in the library a few months back about a bunch of anthro animals who drive race cars, there was a rabbit, a chicken, a bear, and the one I remember the most is a brown wolf with big square eyes. The only part of the story that I remember is about them in a 711 like store where they make fun of the wolf about something.
Edited by cake64opensome kind of anti drug thing?
Not sure what to classify it as but there was some kind of anti drug video i watched in about 1998 at scool. I think the name was called "Sweet (something I can't remember, think it started with a D)" It involved among other things some kind of interview with someone who killed someone while drunk driving and got a really long sentence. Also for some reason I found the video really scary at the time not sure why though.
openKids Show
There was a show I used to watch as a kid and I can't for the life of me remember the name of it. It was about a group of kids that make a video game and then they get sucked into it. To beat the game or escape they have to find all of the game cartridges/discs and I think there's a captain zorg or something along those lines, he's like the big bad guy. I seem to remember that the show was on Cartoon Network but I'm not completely sure. Any help would be appreciated!
openBritish reality docu-soap
Hi all,
This might have been last year or the year before. I remember watching a reality tv series along the same lines as Made in Chelsea. Posh twenty-somethings pretended to have jobs every now and then, but most of the episode was spent discussing who was dating who, and which party would be next. I suppose it says something about the memorability that I cannot recall a single character's name!
Towards the end of the series, I remember one of the guys (I think he was an estate agent or something similar) bought a peach thong to show one of the girls he fancied her, and later one she decided to go out with him and wore the horrendously small knickers.
The characters were mostly British, but a range of accents, so not like Made in Chelsea or TOWIE where there's a regional anchor that's a big part of the show. I watched it online, so not sure which tv channel it was on. All I remember of the show logo were the colours red, blue and silver.
Any help would be really great! :)
openAnimated Short about a stuffed animal Western Animation
Okay so this probably would have been 80s or early 90s at the latest. Possibly on Nickelodeon before they started making their own content. In the short, there was a kid and his stuffed blue dog (may have been a different animal. Bear? Rabbit? Pretty sure it was blue, though). The toy came to life and they had some whimsical adventures. There was no dialog but there was music. At the end, I THINK one of the toy's button eyes falls off, and the kid abandons him to play with a new toy. The short closes on a shot of the stuffed toy, back in "toy mode," slumped on the ground with its button eye hanging off. This short DESTROYED ME as a child. (it was NOT the Velveteen Rabbit, which is acting as a red herring and throwing off all my searches)
Other info: It was definitely 2D animation and not puppets or stop motion (ruling out Old Bear and Friends and The Christmas Toy). I seem to recall it being rather minimalist, with a mostly white background, but that could be just gaps in my memory. I also recall that the animal (dog?) had floppy ears but no tail.
So far all the luck I've had is dredging up a bunch of other shows about abandoned toys that make me tear up while searching for this one (I'm lookin at you "The Mouse and His Child")
open'80 or '90 sci fi movie for kids
It was some kind of a family sci-fi live action movie (definately more for kids than adults). I remember there was a family with at least one kid and they had neighbours who were some sort of energy aliens disguised as old humans. There were also their adversaries, also some energy-based aliens probably also disguised as older people. In one scene these adversaries transformed into their energy form (normally they appeared as old humans but they could transform into their "true form" which was still humaniod, but bright as if they were pure energy and perhaps taller) to fight and kid used water from a garden hose or something like that to sprinkle them and cause some sort of a "shortcut". I also think these aliens were disguising their energy weapons (some sort of a energy swords) as umbrellas or canes. The action was taking place on contemporary Earth in some US city, not in future or in space.
Edited by Aquilaspqropenhelp me find a cartoon
I used to watch it as a kid a few times, but i don't remember anything except there was a spaceship or some kid of flying vessel characters were entering trough its mouth, when it land it opens its mouth and they can leave. I think they were living in some kind of hive or something.
openThis Nickelodeon special from the 90's Live Action TV
There was this Nickelodeon special or segment with these bizarre looking full-bodied characters. I think one of them was some kind of rat. What was the name of it?
openLittle Monsters Childrens Show Live Action TV
This show aired in the early 2000s that I know of, it was live action but the characters were in big monster mascot suits. There were three monsters if I remember correctly and they were tiny and lived in a bedroom, one lived under the bed, one lived in a shoe in the closet and I think the third one lived in a trash can.
openSo many Movits..... Film
Okay, so I'm looking for two Different things at The moment.
One of them is from a horror movie. It's a flashback from a young boy's perspective. He joins his mother at work, she works in a hospital. And we see her in The elevator with an old patient and When she talks to him, he just stares straight ahead. And then When she leaves The elevator, she asks The woman in The front desk Why The old patient was out of his room, and she responds saying that The old patient had died that morning.
And The other is About a girl and a boy, in Their 20's I think, and they meet at a wedding. And he falls for her and wants her to stay, but she says that she's only in town for 2 weeks, and then she has to go Back where she lives. And they post dare, and they are sitting on The floor, a little hidden from everyone and one of them dares The other to steal some of The wedding cake before The ceremony and they do.
That's all I remember.
openBritish? TV comedy Live Action TV
I watched this comedy a few years back that I've tried to remember the name of for so long, i think that the show is most likely British. From what I remember it's about this guy who is 20-30 years old and he lives with this bald guy and an old lady that the old guy takes care of. In the apartment above them live this hot neighbour that the main character has a crush on. I remember a few bits from some episodes, in one the main character hides in the hot neighbours closet and finds out that the guy she is dating is sniffing her underwear. In another the main character, bald guy, old lady and hot neighbour attends a wedding. And in the one I remember the m sit from the main character hides from the hot neighbour and her date by pretending to work at a office. I know it's not much to go on but as I said it was quite a few years since I watched it.
Edited by AccessopenSci-Fi Empire State Building Book? Literature
There was this sci-fi book that I saw in an airport bookstore maybe a year and a half ago. It had the Empire State Building on the front, but the exterior was crumbling, revealing a black, futuristic skyscraper inside. It was about this scientist who invented an anti-gravity device & some people like the MIB approached him and gave him a choice of either working in their secret laboratories, perfecting his device, but it would never be known about by the general populace, or he could go to a secret prison, where other geniuses who refused to help the MIB-like people & wanted to show the world their creations are imprisoned. He chooses to go to prison, where I think he somehow leads a rebellion or something? When I found it, it was a hardcover. Please let me know what it's called or who it's by.
opencartoon i used to watch in the 00's, Australia,
There was a cartoon I used to watch a kid during the 00’s in Australia on the ABC channel, about a spaceship crew of creatures (possibly small mammal looking) looking for a crystal or diamond star or a planet that was important for something magical, and I think there were wizards involved. From memory, the show was live action puppets but it could have been animated. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
openThe Worst Pies in London Music
So, I was watching Demon Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street the other day (The one with Johnny Depp), and as The Worst Pies in London was playing, it reminded me of another piece that I can't quite remember. I want to say that it's Tomorrow from Annie, but I'm not sure. Any ideas?
openBook I found once Literature
Does anyone know what this book might have been? It was about a girl who realized that her loving parents had actually kidnapped her when she saw her picture on a milk carton, and I'm pretty sure I saw it before 2003.
openBritish Drama Live Action TV
In the late nineties/early aughties I watched this British drama (I believe it was a series on PBS) about a philandering doctor who had a wife that abused morphine. I think he was framed for murdering the lover/significant other of his mistress after he got away with killing his wife. There was some scene where he referred to his healing hands.
Is there a movie where a child has something a greedy person wants, so they "hold the person hostage" by not giving them the thing in exchange for them taking the child on an adventure or doing another favor? I feel like this might happen in more than one work.
